The Fusion Effect was formed in 2001 by Richard Tomlin, as a new model for a marketing design consultancy.

Richard had previously been a major shareholder and Creative Director of a design consultancy based in SW London. Responsible for developing new business, he also played a key role in providing ongoing creative services for national and multi-national businesses.

He saw that communication technology would enable virtual teams of creative specialists to be brought together for specific projects. This, he felt, could transform the power of creative service to provide more imaginative, better focused and more effective solutions at affordable prices.

He was particularly interested in working with start-ups and small & medium sized businesses.

The Fusion Effect’s work and its client list are testimony to the success of this new venture.
